S D Korde
A visionary armed with decades of experience, S D Korde founded Diatech in 1990. Prior to his involvement with testing and overhauls at Diatech, he worked with the Gujarat Electricity Board in power plant operation as well as with Crompton Greaves in the space of motor manufacturing. A significant part of his expertise also comes from 25 years of repairs and rewinding of motors and generators with Evans Electric.
Aditya Korde
Aditya brings over 27 years of experience in generator overhauls and electrical testing. He has pioneered Electrical Signature Analysis technology in India in 1999, and is considered one of the foremost experts in this field today, worldwide. He is actively involved in its R&D along with Framatome, USA.
Aditya has performed testing of motors, generators, transformers & cables in India, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Oman, Egypt & Sri Lanka. His certifications include:
- Certified Partial Discharge Analyst (Level II, UK)
- Certified Vibration Analyst (Level III, Australia)
- Certified Electrical Signature Analyst
- Certified in cable diagnostics from DNV-GL (Netherlands), AVO (USA), b2HV (Austria) and Wirescan (Norway)
- Certified in transformer diagnostics from AVO (USA)
Sharaschandra Shetty
Sr. Vice President – Surat Division
Sharaschandra Shetty has been involved in the Energy and Petrochemical Industry for over 35 years. He started his career as Project Engineer and retired as Vice President and Head of Electrical in Reliance Industries, Hazira. Prior to that, he has worked in NTPC and AEG-NGEF.
He brings a wealth of experience in maintenance and testing of Motors, Generators, Switchgear, Transformers and VFDs, as well as of O&M in 220 kV AIS/GIS, 220 kV Cables and 400 kV AIS. Since 2020, he heads our Surat office (which handles all work in Gujarat & Rajasthan) and is the go-to person for engineers worldwide when they face difficulties with any of these equipment.
Vijay Sarda
Sr. Vice President – Mumbai Division
Having spent 35 years at Holcim (ACC-Ambuja), Vijay Sarda has donned all roles – from Electrical Engineer to Asst. Vice President. His experience also includes 13 years of pre-commissioning and O&M in the Middle East.
His key strengths include condition monitoring techniques, power quality studies, RCFA, troubleshooting, energy management, improvement in MTBF, validation of replacements and spares optimization. Since 2015, he heads our Mumbai Division, which caters to pan-India clients (excluding Gujarat & Rajasthan).
Srinivas Desikan
Vice President – Surat Division
Srinivas has worked as Asst. Vice President in ABB as well as at senior positions at BSES Rajdhani, Bandariyah International, Saudi French Company and ALFANAR Technical Services.
He brings not only technical expertise but also invaluable Marketing, Project Management, Strategic Planning and Project Execution skills. He had a key role in the rapid expansion of ABB’s and Alfanar’s rewinding divisions.
